Family and Social Organization
An average Inuit family consists of parents, grandparents, children, aunts and uncles. One Inuit family would often live in only one shelter. An Inuit Man would often marry as fast as he could hunt for food, woomen would often marry as soon as they hit puberty. For the Inuit there was no special rules of courtship as there was no formal marriage ceremony. Sometimes a man could have multiple wives. If a mans wife was sick or injured, he might borrow a wife from a friend. Inuit people would most likely spend winter indoors playing games and telling stories.
Government
Inuits would live in small groups or bands which consisted of families and friends a child would usuially be put in the same band as his family, unless he needed a special lesson his band could not teach. There was technically no "chain of command" however a skilled hunter might be considered a "leader". There were no punishment for disobeying a leader. In bands, men would usually hunt and women often mad clothing.
